Hi, I’m Pilar
I grew up in Colombia playing any sport I could. Soccer, volleyball, rugby. I just loved moving. When I moved to Vancouver in 1999, I brought that same energy with me. At first, I didn’t know exactly where it would take me. Then I entered a fitness competition on a whim, placed second, and thought, “this is it.” That’s when I decided to turn fitness into my career.
I started out working for a big gym but in 2007 I opened my own business. I wanted to create a place where people could train hard, feel supported, and see what they’re capable of. Since then I’ve worked with moms, beginners, and even people who thought they hated exercise, helping them discover their strength.
I’m a certified personal trainer with additional certifications in pre and postnatal fitness, postnatal nutrition, and First Aid and CPR. I’ve stepped on more than one stray dumbbell in my own workouts so I know the little mistakes that happen and how to help you work through them.
When I’m not coaching I’m usually in the kitchen testing out recipes or trying to convince my kids to join me for a quick workout.
What matters most to me is helping moms feel proud of what their bodies can do and stay consistent with a plan that actually works. When you feel strong, everything else feels a little more manageable.
